What Do I Do if I Test Positive for COVID-19?

If you test positive for COVID-19 and meet the medical criteria, we offer Paxlovid prescriptions (Nirmatrelvir tablets; Ritonavir tablets). Research shows Paxlovid reduces hospitalizations and deaths related to COVID-19. It is prescribed to patients at higher risk of disease progression. Eligibility is determined by the consulting doctor, with older, unvaccinated individuals or those with higher-risk medical conditions being more likely to need it. Paxlovid Prescription:

• Consists of taking 2 pink tablets of 150 mg Nirmatrelvir and one white tablet of 100 mg Ritonavir in the morning and again in the evening with water and/or food for five days.
• Side effects include allergic reactions, liver disease, and others. It’s important to inform your medical provider about all the medications you are currently taking.

When Should You Be Tested?

• If you are experiencing symptoms such as cough, fever, body aches, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of smell, or headache.
• If you have had potential exposure to an ill individual.
